Une nouvelle aire de camping-car, tout confort, a été inaugurée mardi 14 juin 2022, sur le terrain adjacent au camping La Falaise, à Locmariaquer (Morbihan), sonnant par là même le glas de l’aire des Pierres-Plates qui leur sera dorénavant fermée : la faute aux mégalithes !


The Pierres-Plates site has been used by motor caravans for forty years. It was free for 48 hours, but there were some abuses. But above all, in our bid to have all the megaliths listed as UNESCO World Heritage sites, the environment of the Pierres-Plates area, a megalithic site, had to be free", explains Hervé Cagnard, Mayor of Locmariaquer (Morbihan), at the inauguration of the La Falaise motorhome park on Tuesday 14 June 2022.
