  • The north coast is less favourable than the west and south of the peninsula. You need big swells in the Channel to be able to surf. In this case, the Sillon beach is one of the best places to surf.
  • Perfect for beginners and intermediates.

  • Near Cap Fréhel, you'll find the Grèves d'en bas beach.
  • This spot requires an intense swell. Perfect with a south-westerly wind. The scenery is great here too, with Cap Fréhel close by.

  • In the Abers region, reef breaks are king. Porspoder beach is perfect for this. Some spots are well known, but most are kept secret, like this one.
  • This region catches a lot of swell, the waves powerful and hollow, rocky bottom, bodyboarders are at home here.

  • Plage du Minou is a magnificent beach with clear water that can only be discovered at low tide.
  • The cove is wild, sandy and close to the lighthouse.
  • This beach is very popular due to its location and quality waves.

  • On the Crozon peninsula, La Palue is certainly one of the most beautiful spots in Brittany. It's also a very consistent surf spot.
  • The beach is splendid and untouched by construction. The waves are powerful and hollow, and the currents can be strong.
  • La Palue is therefore reserved for good surfers on days with big waves.

  • La Torche is the cradle of surfing. The spot to the north of the rocky headland at the southern end of Audierne Bay is one of the few where waves are frequent all year round.
  • The waves are generally long but fairly soft, perfect for longboarding.

  • Guidel was the first town in the Morbihan department to be awarded the "Surfing Town" label.
  • Between the currents and the mouth of La Laïta, surfing is only possible at low tide and during the first few hours of high tide.
  • The coast is characterised by the presence of sandbanks. The beach at Le Loc'h is suitable for all abilities.
