Coeur de Bretagne, Land of Legends

The setting for the legend of King Arthur, Brocéliande is the mythical heart of Brittany. But it's not the only place where tales and legends are told. The Forêt de Huelgoat is also home to many legends. Here's a road trip that's sure to give you a real taste of the region. Follow the roads of the Heart of Brittany from Campénéac to Huelgoat, passing through the Monts d'Arrée. Discover Paimpont and Merlin's tomb, then the Golden Tree at Tréhorenteuc. Continue on to Néant-sur-Yvel to discover the Round Table and then on to Loudéac, where you can spend the night and discover this charming village. Head for the capital of Roman Armorica, Carhaix-Plouguer, where you can discover its history with a visit to the Vorgium. Finish your Finistère tour in the Forêt de Huelgoat.

Situated in the heart of the Brocéliande forest, the pretty village of Paimpont is the starting point for discovering all the mysteries and must-see sites of the region. Come and discover them during a day's hiking: the forest of Paimpont, the Door of Secrets, Merlin's Tomb. You can also visit the surrounding area with Campénéac and the Château de Trécesson, Tréhorenteuc and the Golden Tree and Néant-sur-Yvel and the Round Table. The reception area is ideally located for visiting the surrounding sites.
