If you're a carnival fan, this trip will take you on a journey of discovery. the four corners of France.
Your journey will begin with the Venetian carnival ofAnnecy. IHere you can watch Venetian parades and fancy dress while enjoying an extraordinary spot on the banks of Lake d'Aosta.Annecy. Ensuite, you'll head for the south of France in the direction of Nice. The Nice carnival is considered as one of the biggest in France. This year's carnival theme is "King of the Animals", and you can join in the extravagant float parades.
From there you go back up to the South-Western France to Bordeaux and its Carnaval des deux rives. Carnival participants prepare themselvesYou'll have the chance to see all the floats, fancy dresses and shows on offer, all designed to give you an unforgettable experience. And to round off your trip, the carnival of Granville, one of the oldest carnivals in France, and a source of great pride for the people of Normandy.
The Annecy carnival will take place from 11 to 13 February 2022.
Each year, several hundred masks wander slowly and freely through the streets of Old Annecy.
You can also come and admire the masks on the sound stage by the lake, in the secure setting of the Jardins de l'Europe, to prolong the pleasure of the eyes.
Admission is free for everyone.
The Nice carnival is considered to be one of the biggest in France and is known the world over.
It will take place over 15 days, from 11 to 27 February 2022, on the Quai des États-Unis and on the famous Promenade des Anglais.
This year's carnival theme is "King of the Animals", and you can join in the extravagant processions of floats, big heads and elegant flower battles.
Prices vary depending on the location and your age, of course.
A little tip If you want to attend the corsis carnivalesques on Place Masséna for free, come in full costume 😉
This is the biggest parade in the whole of the South-West, with over 20,000 carnival-goers. Lhe carnival participants prepare their own tanks, their fancy dress and their shows with the aim of offering spectators an unforgettable experience.
But other activities will also be on offer, such as the opportunity to take part in workshops on augmented reality, animation, skateboarding and dance.. There will also be a number of concerts to mark the occasion.
The carnival will take place on the first weekend in March 2022, starting in the early afternoon. The float will cross the city of Bordeaux in

The Granville Carnival is one of the oldest carnivals in France, and is a source of great pride for the people of Normandy. It will take place from 25 February to 1 March 2022 all over the town.
2,000 carnival-goers are putting on a show to the delight of the ever-growing number of visitors. Several shows will be on offer, including Carnival market with musical entertainment, light cavalcade departing from Cours Jonville and much more.
Please note: To obtain tickets, go to the Granville Terre et Mer Tourist Office, 2 rue Lecampion, at 9am on the two Saturdays preceding the event.
