The motorhome park is located 1 km from the town centre and just 500 metres from the pond. It is set in the heart of the Choisnel site, in a green, friendly environment that is ideal for relaxation thanks to several paths around the Choisnel ponds.
On the Choisnel site, a gentle, leafy path allows you to enjoy hiking, fishing and mini-golf.
The town of Castelbriant has therefore made available 3,500 m2 of land dedicated to motorhome owners.
During your stay, you'll park on one of the flat, tarmac pitches marked out by ground markers and wooden logs. The flat, spacious site allows you to arrange your space as you wish.
Each pitch has an electric hook-up point.
Electricity and water (drain and fill) are available on site 24 hours a day all year round.
Châteaubriant is no stranger to welcoming motorhomes, and has become the "Capital of Motorhoming". In 2014, 2015 and 2019, the town hosted the International Rally of the Fédération International de Camping et Caravaning!
Châteaubriant (population 12,011) is a medieval city with a rich history, with its bourgeois houses, chapels, towers and narrow streets steeped in history.
Its geographical location means that it is less than 2 hours from France's major heritage sites. Châteaubriant is 55 minutes from Rennes via the D41 and 1 hour from Nantes via the D31.
The town has a rich natural heritage, so it has built two 10km greenways linking neighbouring towns. These two greenways are ideal for the development of slow tourism. This form of tourism aims to fully immerse visitors in the natural world around them, and to encourage encounters.
It's a town with a rich gastronomic heritage. Local producers offer takeaway sales from their own farms (fish, bread, milk, cheese, cider, fruit, vegetables, honey and charcuterie).
