This parking area has 30 marked spaces on flat ground. You'll park 200 metres from the sea and the port of Saint-Vaast-la-Hougue. You'll have access to water, electricity and drainage.
Saint-Vaast-La-Hougue is a coastal town that juts out into the sea on the east coast of the Cotentin peninsula. With its eventful history, this fishing and yachting port is also a renowned seaside resort. The birthplace of the Norman oyster, Saint-Vaast-La-Hougue is adorned with its two Vauban towers, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
A small piece of land off the coast of Saint-Vaast-la-Hougue, the island of Tatihou is dominated by the massive silhouette of the Tour Vauban, a stone sentinel and a jewel of coastal military architecture, built to the plans of the engineer Vauban.
- The weekly market is held on Saturdays in rue Verrüe and extends as far as place Belle Isle and quai de Tourville in the summer season.
- A supermarket, restaurants, bars, pharmacy and hairdresser are just 10 minutes away.
- The Fête de la mer in Saint Vaast la Hougue took place on 17 July 2022.
