Verton is a charming little town in the Pas-de-Calais region of northern France. It is famous for its fine sandy beach, ideal for swimming and walking, as well as its campsite and Pop Corn Labyrinthe BERCK leisure park. Verton's heritage is best exemplified by the 13th-century church of Saint-Martin, a fine example of Gothic architecture. The town is also a starting point for cycling and walking in the nearby forests.
The Verton market takes place every Tuesday from 27 June to 29 August from 5pm to 9.30pm in the Place de la Mairie. You'll find wood carvings, beauty products, driftwood, dairy products, cold meats, etc.
