La Haye-Fouassière is a town in the Loire-Atlantique department.
One of the nine LU biscuit production plants is located in the municipality.
The town is famous for its large vineyards. In the 16th century, the commune was called Montauban de Bretagne. Over the following centuries, it was successively known as Saint-Jean de la Haye, then Notre-Dame de la Haye, before being given its current name of La Haye-Fouassière in 1672.
