The 24h Low Season *
The car park is open all year round, 24 hours a day, with video surveillance and an on-site warden.
Opposite the port, you'll feel right at home, overlooking the lake, close to the village centre, shops, restaurants, supermarket ...
Departure from the cycle path and walk in front of the area.
Around the area you can fish, moor your boats or go kayaking, paddle.... or admire the kitesurfing on the pond.

Située dans les Pyrénées Orientales, au bord de la Méditerranée, le Barcarès est une commune dynamique, attractive qui bénéficie dun cadre naturel exceptionnel, entre mer et étang.
Les touristes qui passent leurs vacances en camping-car peuvent sarrêter sur laire du Barcarès et ainsi profiter de tous les attraits de cette commune. Idéalement située, laire se trouve à deux pas des commerces et de la zone piétonne.
In just 8 minutes on foot, you're in the town centre, and in 5 minutes, you can get to the boat hire companies and succumb to the charms of blue tourism, which is particularly well developed in the area!
Going to the market
Every morning between 9am and 11.30am, the boats return to port with the local catch and sell you the day's catch direct. From September to June, morning markets from 9am to 1pm, Place République (Wednesday, Friday and Sunday), Place Martinique (Tuesday). Between July and August you can also visit the night market.
